Our approach

We diagnose before we prescribe.

Exigis is a risk management software and services firm that diagnoses before it prescribes: free online diagnostics, a five-step method adapted from DMAIC, and the RiskWorks platform plus Exigis staff to put the fix in place. Recommendations come from your data, and results can be measured against where you started.

Why a structured method

Decisions based on your data

We start from your costs, your volumes and how your people spend their time, not from a product demo.

A baseline you can prove results against

Measuring first means the return on any change can be shown afterward, to finance and to leadership.

Fixes that last

Every improvement comes with the controls to keep it working: measures, reports and an annual re-check.

A method your colleagues know

Our steps follow DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), familiar to finance, procurement and operations.

The five steps

The first three are free. You decide whether to go further once you have seen your results.

1 · Define

Understand your program

Free · online diagnostic

What we do

Identify who does the work, in which departments, and which areas matter most to you. We map each process: who supplies what, what happens to it, and who depends on the result.

What you get

A clear scope: the processes, people and goals the rest of the work is measured against.

2 · Measure

Establish your baseline

Free · online diagnostic

What we do

Estimate your total cost of risk from industry benchmarks and your own figures, and measure the effort and volumes behind each process.

What you get

An approximate TCOR range and an effort baseline, compared with your industry. A model, not a measurement, and an honest starting point.

3 · Analyze

Find the gaps and their causes

Free · 30-minute review

What we do

Walk through your results with an Exigis analyst: where cost and effort are out of line, what is causing it, and which focused diagnostic to run next.

What you get

Your full diagnostic report and a prioritized list of the gaps worth closing.

4 · Improve

Put the fix in place

What we do

Redesign the process and run it on RiskWorks, with your team doing the work or ours doing it for you.

What you get

A working process, configured to your requirements, with the expected return estimated up front and measured against your baseline.

5 · Control

Keep it working

What we do

Track compliance rates, turnaround and effort, report them, and re-run your diagnostic each year.

What you get

Proof the change worked, measured against your baseline, and early warning when it starts to slip.

We map the process before we change it

For each process we use a SIPOC map: who supplies what, the inputs, the steps, the outputs and who depends on them. It shows where effort and risk enter, and who needs to be in the room. Here is vendor insurance compliance:

SUPPLIERSVendors and their brokers, procurement, legal
INPUTSContracts, insurance requirements, certificates, endorsements, bonds
PROCESSRequest, collect, review, follow up, track expirations, re-review
OUTPUTSCompliance status, exceptions, an audit trail
CUSTOMERSRisk management, procurement, project managers, auditors, finance

Questions

Do I have to buy software to get the diagnostic?

No. The diagnostics and the review with an analyst are free. You decide afterward whether to go further.

How accurate is the TCOR score?

It is an approximate model built from published industry benchmarks and your answers, shown as a range. The more of your own figures you enter, the narrower the range.

What happens to my answers?

We use them to prepare your results and, without your name, to build anonymous industry benchmarks. We never sell or share them.

I am not in risk management. Is this for me?

Yes. Much of this work sits in procurement, treasury, legal and operations. The diagnostics adapt to your role and tell you who else should see your results.

Making risk management easy starts with knowing where you stand.
