Armand Alvarez,
President and Chief Executive Officer
Armand is a leading innovator and recognized expert on business process automation technology for risk management, insurance, and trade finance. He founded Exigis in 2002 and became President and CEO in 2004. Under his leadership, Exigis has grown to become a leading provider of software and services and the Vendor of choice for risk managers and treasurers.
Prior to joining Exigis, Armand spent over a decade with Marsh USA, Inc. most recently as a Senior Vice President. During his tenure, Armand founded the Business Process Consulting practice for Marsh USA, Inc. and served in a leadership capacity for several of Marsh’s divisions; including Risk Consulting, Client Advisory, and Information Technology practices. Armand led efforts to successfully expand the scope of Marsh’s relationships with strategic customers such as Dow Corning, General Electric, Tyco, IBM, and American Standard.
Prior to Marsh USA, Inc., Armand held the position of Vice President at Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking Division. In the ten years he worked for the bank, he was a driving force behind much of their product innovation including their Internet Banking products.
Armand has a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies from the University of California at Berkeley.
Frank J. Amelio
Chief Financial Officer
Frank serves as Chief Financial Officer of Exigis LLC, bringing more than twenty years of operational and accounting experience across the professional services, manufacturing, distribution, government contracting, and software industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
Prior to joining Exigis in 2018, Frank was with Buchbinder Tunick & Company in their Audit & Assurance Practice in New York City, where he led external audits for a range of complex private and public clients. He previously served as Vice President of Finance and Controller at Asset Based Lending, LLC, a specialty finance firm focused on direct lending solutions for commercial and residential real estate developers.
At Exigis, Frank oversees all accounting, finance, treasury, M&A, and tax functions.
Kaustav Goshal
Chief Technology Officer
Kaustav is Chief Technology Officer at Exigis, where he leads engineering, security, and platform strategy for the company’s risk management and insurance compliance software serving Fortune 100 clients in commercial insurance and surety. Since rejoining Exigis in February 2025, he has led the modernization of the SaaS platform including the integration of AI.
Kaustav’s return to Exigis builds on seven prior years with the company, where he began as a Senior Software Engineer and rose to Software Engineering Manager. During that tenure he helped shape the core platform that established Exigis as the vendor of choice for risk managers and treasurers, and was an early advocate for the company’s adoption of cloud computing in the early 2010s. He has followed that pattern through microservices and now AI-native engineering.
Between his two chapters at Exigis, Kaustav spent more than a decade in senior technology roles across the financial services industry, delivering lending, identity, and fraud detection platforms that processed over $10 billion in transactions for large national banks and community financial institutions.
Kaustav holds a Master of Computer Science from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology. He also completed the Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
John Folmsbee
Director of Fulfillment Services
John is an experienced leader in insurance operations and client service delivery with more than 30 years in risk management and commercial insurance. He has been with Exigis since 2010 and currently serves as Director of Fulfillment Services, overseeing the delivery and ongoing support of client insurance compliance and risk management programs.
John began his career at Exigis as an Account Manager, working directly with clients to manage insurance programs, address operational needs, and support the successful delivery of Exigis solutions. His strong understanding of client requirements and operational realities led to his advancement into the Director of Fulfillment Services role.
As Director of Fulfillment Services, John leads the team responsible for ensuring clients receive consistent, high-quality support across their programs. He brings together operations, product, and engineering to deliver coordinated solutions that best serve our customers.
Prior to joining Exigis, John spent 18 years in the health insurance industry focused on claims operations, building a strong foundation in insurance processes, customer service, and operational management.
