Exigis, LLC (“Exigis,” “we,” “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of the people who visit our website and use our services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Our website, exigis.com, including forms, newsletters and other features on the site; and
- RiskWorks, including RiskWorksPS, Complianz, all RiskWorks modules, RiskWorksAPI and the customer portals through which RiskWorks is accessed (together, the “Platform”).
Customer data on the Platform. Exigis provides the Platform to organizations (“Customers”) under written agreements. When Customers and their users, vendors and other third parties submit information to the Platform, such as insurance documents, vendor and contact details and agreement information (“Customer Data”), Exigis processes that information on the Customer’s behalf and as the Customer instructs, under the Customer’s agreement with Exigis. The Customer is responsible for its own privacy notices to the people whose information it submits. If your information was submitted to the Platform by one of our Customers, for example as a vendor or contractor of that Customer, please contact that Customer with any requests about your information. We will assist the Customer as required by our agreement and applicable law.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you contact us, request information or a demo, subscribe to updates, apply for a job, or register for or use the Platform, you may provide information such as your name, title, employer, email address, telephone number and mailing address. Platform users may also provide registration data, insurance and contract documents, and information about insurance policies and programs.
Platform usage and security information. To operate and protect the Platform, we automatically collect information about how it is accessed and used, including login and authentication activity, IP address, device and browser information, session activity, pages and features used, usage volumes, and information about the tools and software used to access the Platform. We use this information to secure the Platform and to detect and prevent unauthorized access, including access by automated tools and AI agents, as described in the RiskWorks End User License Agreement.
Website usage information. When you visit our website, we and our service providers collect information such as your IP address, browser and operating system, the pages you visit, the time spent on each page, referring pages, and the date and time of your visit. We use cookies and similar technologies for this purpose, including Google Analytics and Jetpack (WordPress.com) statistics, which help us understand how visitors use the site. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to protect against spam and abuse, which collects information about your device and interaction with the form; its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, maintain and support the website and the Platform;
- authenticate users, secure the Platform, and detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of our terms;
- respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
- communicate with you about our services, including service notices and, where permitted, information about Exigis products and events;
- understand how our website and Platform are used so we can improve them;
- bill for services and manage our customer relationships; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We use Customer Data only to provide the Platform and related services to the Customer, as permitted by the Customer’s agreement with Exigis. We do not use Customer Data to train artificial intelligence models offered to third parties.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as follows:
- With our Customers. Information submitted to the Platform about a Customer’s vendors, contractors or other third parties is available to that Customer and its authorized users.
- With service providers who host, operate and support our website and Platform, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics and customer support providers. They may use the information only to perform services for us and must protect it.
- For legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena, court order or other legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Exigis, our Customers, users or others.
- In a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of any change in ownership or in the uses of your information.
- With your consent or at your direction.
5. Cookies and Your Choices
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are sent. Some parts of the website or Platform may not work properly without cookies. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, firewalls, intrusion detection and monitoring of Platform access. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us.

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide our services, meet legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Customer Data is retained and returned or deleted as provided in the Customer’s agreement with Exigis.

Depending on where you live, including California, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to know how we use and share it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If your request concerns Customer Data, we will refer it to, or assist, the relevant Customer.
9. Where Information Is Stored
Exigis is based in the United States, and information we collect is stored and processed in the United States.
10. Children
Our website and Platform are intended for business use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
11. Links to Other Websites
Our website may link to websites operated by others. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice, such as a notice on the website or Platform or by email. Prior versions are available on our Prior Versions page.
